Richard J Gnodde

Richard has served as a member of the Board of Trustees since 2012. He is currently Chief Executive Officer of Goldman Sachs International, having joined the firm in 1987.  Over the course of his career he has worked in Japan, Singapore and Hong Kong and he played a leading role in expanding the firm’s overall Asian footprint. In 2005, he returned to London and became Co-Chief Executive Officer of Goldman Sachs International in 2006.

Richard graduated from UCT with a Bachelor of Commerce degree, and later from Cambridge University where he completed a Master’s degree in Law.

Richard serves on the Campaign Board of Cambridge University, is a Member of Cancer Research UK and a Member of Alzheimer’s Research UK Pioneers’ Circle.
