Alumni were invited to attend a private viewing of the Nelson Mandela Centenary Exhibition at the Queen Elizabeth Hall at the South Bank Centre.
This exhibition explores the life and times of Mandela and marks the centenary of his birth.
It provides insight into his journey from young freedom fighter to becoming the inspiration for an international movement against South Africa’s violent and oppressive apartheid system, and an emblem of an ongoing struggle to build a more just and equitable world.
Presented by Anti-Apartheid Movement Archives, Apartheid Museum, and Southbank Centre. The exhibition is free of charge and open to the public until 19th August 2018.
