A huge thank you to The Baroness Hodgson of Abinger CBE and former UCT UK Trustee, the Rt Hon. The Baroness Chalker of Wallasey for hosting our 165 alumni and friends at the House of Lords.
It was a great opportunity for our UCT alumni community to hear from our Vice-Chancellor who spoke about the fourth strategic objective of Innovation and Entrepreneurship which forms part of Strategy 2030.
The audience were also addressed by leading UCT paediatrics researcher Prof Anthony Figaji who presented on the pioneering neuroscience research of his group and its potential for wider global impact.
